Photoshop – photo manipulation
This was a unique commission, as I’m use to flexing fine arts and design, however here I was asked to expand and develop the below photograph for a funeral portrait. This was a deeply important commission as this piece commemorates and celebrates the man in the photo, Robert Dixon. I am extremely honoured to have been commission here and thank my client for selecting me.

“I came to Faye with an image in mind and she far passed my expectations. She provided a friendly and professional service, and came back to me with the finished result after just 2 days. I cannot recommend Faye highly enough” – Charlotte Dixon

The Metahumans is an upcoming comic book written by Mark Storey 2019. The narrative follows a dystopian future in which a determined scientist experiments on 12 human subjects. I have been commissioned to work on all visual aspects of The Metahumans. Developing each character, costume evolution and setting. The finalisation of these elements will lead to a collaborative production of official issues over upcoming years.
THE WORLD OF THE METAHUMANS
The year is 2050, the world has made leaps in terms of technology and science but steps back in humanity. ‘Situations’ as politicians would describe them are a regular occurrence. Civil rights are on the rise again due to the ever-growing discourse between people. Hope for everyday man is fleeting. The streets are dark, damp and lonely. Man must persevere before all hope is lost. Dr. Novac knows how bad it is and sees the Metahumans as a symbol of hope and protection that no matter your background you will be able to support

Dr. Novac who works for Captech has been working on serums to help defeat mankind’s greatest weaknesses. After countless setbacks, he finally is approved to make and test them. Making his journey to Titan all those years ago suddenly all make sense.
The ‘heroes’ are most unlikely with Novac targeting specific people who he believes can control and will not be overwhelmed by their new abilities. The likes of orphans, prisoners and the tormented are usually his first point of call. These twelve people will never be the same.
Wythenshawe waste warriors, School Mapping Project set out to raise funds for the Snowdrop Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital Charity. The wonderful work involved would be showcased at an event on May 21st however, due to Covid 19 concerns, the event was rescheduled. The project so far had raised £1,320.66. The snowdrop unit cares for families suffering from a baby loss, these funds aim to build a second bereavement room to enhance the privacy and mental wellbeing of suffering parents and families.
